We were founded by Mary Louise "Mother" Morgan and officially became a 501(c)3 non-profit on March 28, 1984 signed by (then)Secretary of State, George Firestone.  Originally named Freedom Seven Senior Citizens Community Center.

Now- 36 years later - we are still  the local, grassroots, non-profit with the same mission statement "to provide wellness, educational, social and recreational activities (primarily) for seniors in Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral, Merritt Island" - but open to adults of all ages and from all areas.

We long for our own home one day, but since 2005 our "temporary home" is inside the Cocoa Beach Country Club.   We are open Monday thru Thursday, 9am- 4pm.

Glad you are here:
Please visit this website often, and like and visit our Facebook  page, to stay updated on weekly activities, special events, fundraisers, and, your local merchants and restaurants providing discounts/perks to current Freedom 7 card members. Call anytime, for any reason.
